Due to the current COVID-19 Pandemic, Women’s Contact Society is currently operating between the hours of 9am and 3pm Monday-Thursday and closing at midday for COVID protocols. Phone appointments only on Friday.

In an effort to protect our community, we please ask that all service users wear a mask and use hand sanitizer/disposable gloves when in our office space. We have also closed the CCRR Lending Library, and temporarily also The Women’s Closet and The Children’s Closet. Donations for the closets are currently closed.

We also require basic contact information and take temperatures at the front desk for all service users and staff. This is for contact tracing so we can alert people if we get a COVID case in our office space. Please be aware that we are moving as much services as possible to digital or over the phone to reduce contact and congestion in the office.

We are still currently open and can make exceptions to limitations with the closets or appointments when necessary.

If you are sick, have been around someone who has been feeling ill, or have been outside of the province in the past 2 weeks, please consider phoning or coming in during another time.

Thank you in advance for doing your part to keep our community safe. We must all count on each other at this time.
